Suarez BANNED…again!

So Luis ‘teeth’ Suarez has been banned from playing football for 4 months as a result of biting the shoulder of Italian defender; Giorgio Chiellini in the 80th minute of their World Cup clash!

As a result of the ban, Suarez will miss Uruguay’s next 9 FIFA international matches including the last 16 match against Colombia on Saturday and the start of the Premier League. It also rules him out of Copa America.

The ban also means he is not allowed to step foot into a stadium at the World Cup!

He was also fined the equivalent of £65,000 although I sure the fine is the least of his worries…

Oh and Adidas has dropped him from their World Cup promotions stating:

Adidas fully supports Fifa’s decision. Adidas certainly does not condone Luis Suarez’s recent behaviour
We will again be reminding him of the high standards we expect from our players. We have no plan to use Suarez for any additional marketing activities during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

What a shame hey?

I mean what the hell was going on anyway?

Aren’t we supposed to be civilised human beings?

What’s with the doggish behaviour?

The crazy thing is Suarez is clearly sooooo animalistic, he couldn’t even contain himself enough to know that should he release his inner toothy beast, millions of eyes would witness it!

It’s the World Cup you dope but nope, the beast in him prevailed!

This isn’t the first time his rather notable teeth got him into bother either – this is the 3rd time he has been served a ban for biting in the last 4 years actually, so I ask the question again; what the heck is going on?

First off; back in 2010 he bit and drew blood from the shoulder of PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakkal.  He received a 7 match ban and won himself the nickname; Cannibal of Ajax…

Secondly, he bit Branislav Ivanovic of Chelsea on the forearm in a game at the end of the 2012-13 season.  He was given another 10 match ban and now this…

The only upside of this from Suarez’ point of view would be that; Fifa spokeswoman Delia Fischer said;

Suarez would still be allowed transfer to a different club during the ban, but would not be able to play for a new club until the sanction ends.

Can we just point out that this man is a husband and father of 2, what kind of example is this setting to his children? Bite when things get tough?

I wonder what wifey thinks?

Maybe it’s the biting that drew her in the first place…joke!

Jokes aside, I really hope that this latest ban is the final time he gets a bli because that’s essentially what it is…a bli. I mean he gets to play football again…eventually!

If it were down to me, he wouldnt!

The next time this shit happens I think he should be banned permanently to set some sort of an example.

Out with the Cannibal!!!
